ENSENADA – oil on custom wood panel / vintage cedar.

While spending multiple winters in Rincon, Puerto Rico i stayed in front of a break called “DOGMAN’S”   The place of stay was called VILLA ENSENADA and every morning i would wake up… take 10 steps of the front porch and look to my left toward PISTONS, MARIAS and off in the distance INDICATORS.  This was my view.

we all have that feeling of being up before the sun comes up… driving with anticipation to see the waves first…check the surf to peeling waves, and no one out.

something seems so surreal about a snow covered beach to me.  I have always been struck by how beautiful it is.  all the footprints, seaweed, shells, and depending on where you live garbage is covered and brings out a clean, pristine, surreal memory.
